Our Target Groups

Women, children, girls are our primary target group. Young people and populations marginalized in social participation are our group of special attention.
The main services we offer to these groups include but are not limited to: 1. In the area of health - Access to quality primary health care; prevention and adherence to treatment for Tuberculosis, HIV and water-related diseases; prevention and treatment of non-communicable diseases such as Diabetes, Hypertension and trauma. 2. In the area of environment - we promote environmental education, promotion of environmental protection areas and sustainable use of forestry and marine resources and their ecosystems. 3. in the area of education - we promote girls' retention in school, and professionalizing learning for women and girls. 4. In the area of Economic Empowerment - we promote savings and revolving credits for girls, women and disadvantaged populations.

Implemented Projects

1. Management of Tuberculosis and Diabetes omorbidity cases - pilot project financed by the word diabetes foundation. Its objective is to help the Mozambican Ministry of Health to develop national guidelines that allow the treatment of cases of Tuberculosis and Diabetes, in alignment with the World Health Organization.
2. Advocacy for the Implementation of the law to protect marine and coastal biodiversity in Vilankulo - with funding from USAID, through Counterpart International. resulted in the creation of two marine and coastal resource management committees in Vilanculo, the creation of self-saving groups and revolving credit for fishermen with greater participation of girls and women; development of instruments for photographic monitoring of marine and coastal environmental health.
3. Economic Empowerment of Girls and Women - with funding from USAID, strengthened the capacity of girl and female household heads in Boane to reduce gender-based violence, improve protection of girls from contracting HIV and STIs.
4. I am strong so I take care of myself - with funding from USAID, it focused on strengthening treatment retention for PLWH, revealing serostatus to PLWH partners, and creating economic capacity for PLWH through savings and community revolving credits.
